Seating Inc. awarded BIFMA level 1 Certification!
Seating Inc. has earned a level® 1 certification that its products conform to the ANSI/BIFMA e3-2012 Furniture Sustainability Standard from SCS Global Services, a third-party certifier for environmentally sustainable products. This American National Standard was developed to help identify and assess environmentally preferable furniture. The standard allows for multiple levels of achievement and provides an open alternative to proprietary protocols. Sustainability areas evaluated under the certification process include: Materials; Energy and Atmosphere; Human and Ecosystem Health, and Social Responsibility. Achievement of this certification enables Seating Inc. to promote its Advent, Cobra, Contour II, EDU, Grid, Health, Indy, Jay, Monterey II, Muse, NestIt, Pearl II, Saddle, and Tradition lines of high-quality, American-made ergonomic chairs and seating products.
